Description
Das seltene Blatt in einem ausgezeichneten zarten Druck, wie bei Meder für diesen frühen Zustand beschrieben. Noch mit der ehemaligen Horizontlinie über dem linken Oberschenkel. An der rechten Kante mit einem feinen Rändchen um die Plattenkante, ansonsten auf diese geschnitten. Dürers Schmerzensmann entstand 1512 vermutlich als erstes von drei Kaltnadelblättern – im selben Jahr wie die letzten zehn Blätter der Kupferstichpassion. – Ein diagonaler, fachgerecht restaurierter Einriss im unteren Rand, Papier vereinzelt leicht braunfleckig, ansonsten in gutem Zustand. Sehr selten!
