Description
Good, strong impression of the last state, with the sought-after gaps in the borderlines, printing somewhat weaker at lower left. The woodcut was published in the same year as the book edition of The life of the Virgin. With wide margins. – Darkened in the mat opening. The paper browned and stained. Uneven at the edges. Horizontal creases from printing, otherwise still in good condition.
