Description
Quite excellent, high-contrast and deep black impression with the beginning rust stains and in the white areas of the uppermost cloud, the stones lower right and around the monogram. Sporadically with slight plate tone and with the watermark sought after for this condition, which suggests a print from around 1550. With a fine margin around the platemark. – Verso slightly time stained and with traces of former mounting in the right margin, otherwise a fine copy.
