Description
Very fine, clear and clean impression of the second version of this rare Madonna, with the perfect outer halo and slight scratch marks in the white section of the background and the vertical scratches next to the monogram, as desired for early prints. The contours, especially the drapery, are still clearly defined. Cut close to the border line. – A few carefully repaired defects to the paper around the edges, otherwise in good condition. Rarely found in such a fine example!
