Description
Kräftiger Druck von klarer und kontrastreicher Wirkung, im linken Ärmel des Josef leicht überschwärzt. Mit der Lücke im Oberrand und dem Sprung durch die linke Pflanze im Vordergrund, der schon in frühesten Abdrucken sichtbar ist. Die Darstellung der heiligen Familie mit den Hasen zählt zu den beliebtesten Holzschnitten Dürers. In so schöner und frischer Erhaltung von größter Seltenheit. – Zwei kaum sichtbare Quetschfalten (in der oberen linken Ecke und am Unterrand unterhalb des Hasen links), horizontale Hängefalte, kleine Verschmutzung oben links, ansonsten in tadellos frischer Erhaltung.
