Description
Ausgezeichneter, in den dunklen Partien tiefschwarzer Druck mit der Schramme über dem Helm. Mit einem feinen Rändchen um die Plattenkante. Dürers erster Wappenstich stellt ein Fantasiewappen dar. Er beinhaltet zugleich auch eine Ständesatire im Sinne der “Verkehrten Welt” (Schoch). So steht der Hahn, der Welt der Bauern zugehörig, angriffslustig auf dem patrizischen Stechhelm, der seinerseits einen adeligen Wappenschild mit Löwen bekrönt. – Minimal angestaubt. Unten links mit einem Löchlein, Papier im Rand knitterfaltig, anonsten gut erhalten.
