Description
Neben den Gemälden in der freien Natur entstehen einige Werke intimerer Art. Halb bekleidete Damen bzw. Akte bei der Toilette werden, in üppigen Tuch gehüllt, von Cucuel festgehalten. Die hier teils entblößte Dame hat sich zum Ausruhen auf ihr Sofa gelegt. Doch an Schlafen ist hier wohl nicht zu denken, da Cucuel die Dargestellte hier ganz bewusst platziert hat. Vielleicht ein ermüdetes Modell von den vielen Sitzungen für den Maler.
