Descrizione
Magnificent, very fine and early print, without the wear on the left side of the face and with the slight vertical scratch under the hair on the right side. Sharp and clear in all details. With a narrow border around the edge of the plate. Classified by Nowell-Usticke as “RRR +” and labelled “A very rare, attractive self portrait; almost always pale & indistinct”. Otherwise very well preserved. Extremely rare in this quality!
