Pen and ink and wash in brown on laid paper, laid down on a backing board. (Early 17th C.). 15.9 x 9.8 cm. With a trimmed black pen border. Inscribed on the reverse of the backing “Original Sketch in Oil by Parmegiano (sic) from the collection of M. Carey Esq.”.

Description

Oberere Blattkante angesetzt. Am Fuß der Figur ein winziges Löchlein. Altersgemäße Handhabungsspuren, ansonsten noch gut erhalten.
