Description

The artist probably came from the Marchesi circle of Marco (“Fra’ Mattia”) della Robbia, who belonged to the third generation of the important Florentine family of artists. –
Somewhat soiled. The mount slightly rubbed in places, with tiny flaking and fine cracks on the bridge of the nose. The lower edge of the red robe with bumps. In good condition for its age.
