Description
Eine von zwei Radierungen für das gleichnamige Buch von René Char, Alès 1958. Goeppert beschreibt den Entstehungsprozess der Graphik wie folgt: Picasso radierte erst die Arme und Beine der Figur in vereinfachter Form und druckte sie auf Zelluloid, dann schnitt er den Stern und eine dachförmige Figur aus dem Papier. Schließlich schnitt er die unter Ecke des Dachs ab, drehte sie um und überdruckte sie mit Augen, Nase und Mund in Rot. – Äußerste Kanten schwach gebräunt. Wenige Gebrauchspuren. Allgemein in sehr gutem Zustand.
