Diese Farblithografie von Picasso dient 1960 als Umschlagillustration für die Zeitschrift “Ces Peintres Nos Amis” (Bd. II) von Gilberte Duclaud, herausgegeben von der Galerie 65 in Cannes. Sie basiert auf der gleichnamigen Lithografie aus dem Jahr 1956, die wiederum als Frontispiz der Publikation “Dans l’atelier de Picasso” von Jaime Sabartés erschienen ist (vgl. Bloch 794 sowie Goeppert/Cramer 88). Für diese Umschlagillustration überarbeitet Picasso die frühe Version und erweitert sie um zahlreiche Farben.

Description
Schwach gebräunt, geringfügige Griffknicke, Blattrand oben und links beschnitten, Blattkanten leicht bestoßen und mit vereinzelten minimalen Läsuren. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung.
