Qualitätvolle Darstellung, wohl zur Abklärung der Komposition eines Gemäldes entstanden. Vergleichbare Stillleben von Snyders wurden bei Sotheby’s, Monaco, 5.12.1991, Los 71, und bei Christie’s, New York, 25.1.2005, Los 202 versteigert. – Innerhalb des Passepartoutausschnitts leicht gebräunt. Mit Spuren von Tintenfraß im Bereich der oberen Kontur des Otterkopfes sowie zwei winzigen Löchlein. Verso mit Montageresten an den Rändern, ansonsten gut.
