Die vollständige Folge von A. Sauras Ehrung der Künstlerin und Muse Picassos. Während Saura für diese Porträtfolge eine kubistische, abstrakte Formensprache wählt, sind die Farben der Arbeiten in den für Sauras gesamtes Oeuvre so charakteristischen Schwarz-, Grau- und Brauntönen gehalten. Das menschliche Gesicht war stets von Bedeutung in Sauras künstlerischem Schaffen. Gerade die späten Arbeiten, zu der diese Folge gehört, fallen in Sauras ausdrucksstärkste und entwicklungsreichste Schaffensperiode. – In besonders gutem Zustand.
