Description
A very fine lifetime impression with the sought-after early watermark indicating a print of the sheet about 1653 and proving the back thing as a 2nd state of printing. With a touch of ridge in the foliage and rocks lower left. Before the unintentional line behind the saint’s head as well as with the fine vertical line right above the spear. With a small margin around the platemark. – The upper edge set in. The lower right and left corners carefully backed. A small repair in the centre of the right margin, otherwise in good condition.
