Portfolio of 6 etchings on firm, slightly textured wove by Van Gelder Zonen with typewritten table of contents and introduction by Wilhelm Uhde. In the original half cloth folder with coloured lithograph cover illustration. Published in as portfolio XII of Galerie Flechtheim, Berlin. 1921. Up to ca. 19.5 x 14.5 cm (sheet size ca. 33 x 25.5 cm). A copy from an edition of 50 numbered in the imprint. Etchings each signed and dated lower right. Signed once more by Molzahn and Uhde in the imprint. The inside cover of the folder inscribed with the owner’s name “Hertel”. The portfolio comes from the estate of Christof Hertel (1908-1932), who was a pupil of Paul Klee at the Bauhaus in Dessau. Salzmann 47-53.
