Description
Wohl Vorstudie zur Lithografie “Nährende Bäuerin” (Schiefler 293). Die Szene ist nicht nach der Natur gezeichnet sondern war ursprünglich für als Umschlagvignette gedacht für die Ausgabe “Max Liebermann – 54 Steindrucke zu kleinen Schriften von Heinrich von Kleist”, die 1917 mit einer anderen Vignette bei Bruno Cassirer erschien.
