Description
Sheet 9 from the series: Vedute di Roma. Very good, strong and clear early impression, with the watermark sought after for lifetime impressions and before all numbers. Before the price indication which Piranesi adds in later impressions. With wide margins. – With the characteristic vertical centrefold, at top centre with small crease due to printing. Slightly yellowed and faintly stained in margins, otherwise in good condition. Rarely found in such an early impression!
