Description
Sheet 17 from the series: The Life of the Virgin. Good and clear impression of the penultimate state, with the gaps in the outline of the mountain and the breaks in the upper and lower margins described by Meder. The watermark suggests a print from 1580 to 1590. Cut to the margin. – A pressure-related crease at the bottom right. The corners have been backed and inconspicuously repaired on the reverse, otherwise in good condition.
