Woodcut block after a drawing by Jacob Custodi (Around 1600-1644?). (1630-1676). 17 x 12 cm. Signed with the artist’s monogram on the lower left edge and there inscribed: “S. MONS ANDECHS EST”, and inscribed “J. Custodi f.” and “MARX AN. HANNAS” lower left and right.

Aus der Sammlung des Fürsten zu Oettingen-Wallerstein, Maihingen, mit dem Stempel (nicht bei Lugt);
Privatbesitz, Süddeutschland.

Description

Signiert mit Monogramm links am unteren Rand und dort mit: “S. MONS ANDECHS EST” und unten links und rechts “J. Custodi f.”, “MARX AN. HANNAS” bezeichnet. – Kleine, vereinzelte zeitgenössische Ausbrüche in der Einfassungslinie. In der rechten oberen Ecke mit Wurmlöchlein. Ansonsten gut erhalten.
