Description
Thomas Schütte ist einer der facettenreichsten Künstler unserer Zeit, seine künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen sind mannigfaltig. Als Verfechter der Entschleunigung bekennt sich Schütte zur Handwerklichkeit. So sind seine Grafiken ein wesentlicher Bestandteil seine Œuvres, dies zeigt das weite thematische und technische Spektrum seiner Mappenwerke. Die “Sweet Nothings” sind 22 Motive des träumerischen Wandelns und poetischen sich Verlierens in Farben und Formen. Beeindruckend ist der virtuose drucktechnische Aufwand, den Thomas Schütte betreibt, um die sehr kleine Auflage von nur 50 Exemplaren zu realisieren.
