Description
Sehr schöner, transparenter Druck nach der Vergrößerung der Facette; die Roulette-Arbeiten noch deutlich sichtbar. Paul Cézanne hielt sich 1873 in Auvers-sur-Oise bei Dr. Paul Gachet auf, bei dem er die Kunst der Radierung erlernte. Es entstanden im Sommer 1873 insgesamt fünf Radierungen, drei Landschaften und zwei Portraits. Nach dem gleichen Modell entstand in Auvers-sur-Oise auch ein Ölbild, (Venturi 285). – Im rechten Rand mit einer geringen Knickspur außerhalb der Darstellung, ansonsten sehr gut erhalten.
