Watercolour on wove. 1862. 24.5 x 33.3 cm. Inscribed with the location “Entschenkopf” within the depiction upper left and “Nebelhorn” in the centre. Inscribed and dated “Der Gaisalpsee am Nebelhorn im Allgäu n. d. Natur gemalt von Max Reisenegger 3./VIII. 1862” on the reverse and inscribed once more beside it “Gaisalpsee mit dem Nebelhorn 3/8 62”.

Wohl Georg Denzel (1873-1959), verso mit dem Stempel “G+W D” (nicht bei Lugt);
Dr. Friedrich Wilhelm Denzel, München, verso mit dem Inventarstempel (nicht bei Lugt).

Description

Vertikaler Mittelfalz, kleine Quetschfältchen am unteren Rand. Verinzelt geringfügige braune Fleckchen, ansonsten in guter Erhaltung.
