Description
Ausgezeichneter, silbriger Druck, die Landschaft im Hintergrund gleichmäßig sichtbar. Van Leyden rückt die Lüsternheit der beiden Männer durch Format, Mimik und Manier in den Vordergund. Die badende Susanna ist dagegen in einen fernen Garten gerückt. Aufgrund des Wasserzeichens ist vorliegender Druck um 1558 zu datieren. An drei Seiten mit der Einfassungslinie, an der unteren Kante links knapp innerhalb dieser geschnitten. – Die untere rechte Eckenspitze fachmännisch restauriert, ansonsten tadellos. Sehr selten!
