Description

Ausgezeichneter, gleichmäßig druckender Abzug des ersten Zustandes vor dem Kratzer in der Sonne. Teilweise mit einem feinen Rändchen um die Einfassungslinie. Winzinger zählt diesen Kupferstich zu den hervorragendsten Arbeiten Altdorfers. Die helle Sonnenscheibe, deren sprühende Strahlenbündel den ganzen Raum umspannen, ist eine Erfindung Wolf Hubers. – Verso leicht braunfleckig, ansonsten in guten Zustand.
