Description
Dieses Stillleben entsteht im Sommer 1932 in Klingenstein. In einer Briefnotiz schreibt Kleinschmidt am 15.9.1932 an Erich Cohn: “Ich habe wieder gut gearbeitet, hätte zwei ganz kleine aber superbe Stilleben jedes 25 x 35 cm eines rosa und rote Rosen, das andere Gebäcke und Maiglöckchen…” sowie am 1.11.1932: “die beiden kleinen Ölbilder sind für Sie beide als Weihnachtsgaben bestimmt, jedes Bild trägt eine kleine Widmung”.
