Reddish brown etching and pencil on laid paper watermarked “Van Gelder Zonen”. (Around 1907). 12.7 x 9 cm (sheet size 33.9 x 25 cm). Includes: 1. “Ex Libris for Walter Giesecke”. Etching on Japon. (Around 1907). 12.9 x 8.9 cm (sheet size 33 x 24.3 cm). This sheet in a print of the final version. Singer 304 III (of III). 2. Title sheet “Etchings”, pond with dragonflies. Etching on copperplate paper. 1881. 15.6 x 10.5 cm (sheet size 60.3 x 44.5 cm). Signed, dated, and inscribed with the location “Berlin” lower left. One of six trial proofs. Singer 281 III (of IV). 3. “Ex Libris of Dr. H. Klinger”. Etching on Japon rolled on wove. 1879. 9 x 6 cm (sheet size 30 x 24 cm). Signed and dated lower left. Singer 309 I (of II). 4 sheets in total.

Description

Von Klinger überarbeiteter Probedruck vor den zusätzlichen Schraffuren im Wasser. Mit einem breiten Rand um die Plattenkante. – In gutem Zustand.

Beiliegt:
1. “Ex Libris Walter Giesecke”. Radierung auf Japan. (Um 1907). 12,9 x 8,9 cm (Blattgröße 33 x 24,3 cm).
Das Blatt in einem Abzug des endgültigen Zustands. Singer 304 III (von III).

2. Titelblatt “Radierungen”, Teich mit Libellen. Radierung auf Kupferdruckpapier. 1881. 15,6 x 10,5 cm (Blattgröße 60,3 x 44,5 cm). Signiert, datiert und mit “Berlin” ortsbezeichnet unten links. Einer von sechs Probedrucken.

3. “Ex Libris Dr. H. Klinger”. Radierung auf aufgewaltztem Japan, auf Velin. 1879. 9 x 6 cm (Blattgröße 30 x 24 cm). Signiert und datiert unten links. Singer 309 I (von II).
