Oil crayons in colours over lithograph on wove paper by Arches. (1958)/(19)71. C. 62 x 37.5 cm (sheet c. 75.5 x 53.5 cm). Signed and dated “12.7.71” lower right. Once more signed and with personal dedication lower centre.
In 1971 Hartung revised one of his lithographs dated 1958 with oil crayons in colours, thereby making the work unique.

Description

Hartung überarbeitet 1971 mit farbigen Ölkreiden eine seiner Lithographien aus dem Jahr 1958, die dadurch Unikatcharakter erhält. Papier schwach gebräunt, schmale Lichträndchen und vereinzelte winzige Braunfleckchen, kleine ausgebesserte Papierläsur oben rechts, Blattkanten mit schwachen Bereibungen wohl von alter Montierung, geringfügige Griffknicke, sonst in guter Erhaltung.
