Description
Carl Friedrich Werner studierte bei Veit Hanns Schnorr von Carolsfeld an der Akademie in Leipzig und später bei Friedrich von Gärtner in München. Seine Aquarelle sind sehr genau in der Wiedergabe aller Einzelheiten, daher von bedeutendem volkskundlichen und architekturgeschichtlichen Wert. – Im Bereich des Himmels etwas braunfleckig, ansonsten in gutem Zustand.
