Verso auf der Unterlage mit dem Verkaufsetikett des Simplicissimus. Dort erschienen im Jg. 3 (1898), Nr. 29. Unterlage mit dem Text: “Jestern habe ik eenen Jrafen jefahren, der war knille wie ‘ne Radehacke, die janze Karre hat er mir volljejerbt. Aber dann hat er mir zehn Märker jeschenkt – ja, Kavalier bleibt Kavalier.” Oberfläche etwas berieben, stellenweise mit Kratzspuren, minimal fleckig, Unterlage fleckig, am oberen Rand mit Spuren alter Montage, am linken Rand mit einem Einriss, an der unteren rechten Ecke mit Fehlstelle, sonst altergemäß gut erhalten.
