Description
Nach einer Bauzeichnerlehre studiert Adolf Herbst Architektur an der ETH Zürich und wendet sich um 1935 der Malerei zu. Er beschäftigt sich vorwiegend mit dem Akt, dem Stillleben und dem Porträt und wurde noch zu Lebzeiten mit Ausstellungen im Kunsthaus Zürich, im Kunstmuseum Thun und im Kunsthaus Aarau gewürdigt.
