Description
Das schon zu Lebzeiten Rembrandts beliebte und gesuchte Blatt, aus der Folge von Darstellungen aus der Kindheitsgeschichte Christi, in einem ausgezeichneten, kräftigen Abdruck, der zarte Ätzspuren am unteren Rand zeigt. Vor den leichten Kratzspuren über den Knien und im Schoß Marias. Selten so schön. Mit einem feinen Rändchen um die Plattenkante. – Verso mit Resten von alter Montage. Papier minimal unfrisch, ansonsten sehr schön.
