Die kompositionellen Ähnlichkeiten mit Georg Heinrich Busses Radierung “Gegend bei Marino im Albaner Gebirge” (Andresen 19), die für den Kunstverein in Hannover nach einem heute verschollenen Gemälde von Heinrich Brandes aus dem Jahre 1833 entstand, machen die Zuschreibung unseres Gemäldes an Brandes wahrscheinlich.
