Description
Aufgrund technischer Schwierigkeiten wurde der ursprüngliche Start der 8. Challenger Mission vom 4. August auf den 30. August verschoben. Am Morgen des neu angesetzten Starts wütete ein heftiges Unwetter über Kennedy Space Center. Diese atemberaubende Aufnahme entstand nur wenige Stunden vor dem Abflug.
