Description
Eduard Bargheer wird 1901 in Finkenwerder geboren. Nach dem frühen Tod seiner Eltern übernimmt sein Bruder Ernst die Vormundschaft. Als Eduard 1924 seinen Berufswunsch Maler durchsetzt, kommt es zu einem Bruch. Diese Ansicht einer alltäglichen Szene seines Heimatortes entsteht noch vor der Einrichtung seines Ateliers am Westerdeich in Finkenwerder 1928.
