Description
Bargheers Frühwerk trägt noch expressionistische Züge. Der Bildraum ist gegenständlich behandelt, Licht und Form entsprechen noch den Naturgegebenheiten. 1928, nur zwei Jahre später, wurde Bargheer Mitglied in der Künstlervereinigung Hamburgische Sezession. Erst als der Künstler seinen Wohnsitz endgültig 1939 nach Ischia verlegte, werden seine Arbeiten lichter und die Bildgestaltung abstrahierter.
