Diese Lithographie, die hier in der endgültigen Fassung vorliegt, stellt das Ende eines intensiven Gestaltungsprozesses dar: Picasso schuf vom 12. März bis zum 20. Mai insgesamt 10 Fassungen. Das vorliegende Blatt vereint die neue Schwarzplatte vom 20. Mai mit der Tonplatte in Rötel vom 12. März, ergänzt um eine graue Tonplatte und eine ockerfarbene Tonplatte für den “Rahmen”. Leicht lichtrandig. An den Rändern etwas fleckig. Verso an den Rändern stellenweise Reste von Klebeband. Allgemein gut.
