Description
Aus stilistischen Gründen ist die großflächig lavierte, ganz aus dem Spiel von Licht und Schatten heraus aufgebaute Zeichnung in die 1660er Jahre zu datieren, in der Leupenius Schüler von Rembrandt war. 1661 war der aus Amsterdam gebürtige Künstler, zusammen mit Arent de Gelder, in das Atelier von Rembrandt eingetreten. – Insgesamt schwach braunfleckig, verso mit Montageresten in den Ecken. Von schöner Erhaltung.
