Description
Der Künstler war Schüler des Andrea Belvedere, in dessen Werkstatt in Neapel er bis 1694 beschäftigt war. Er ist vor allem für seine Blumen-, Frucht- und Wildbretstücke bekannt, bei denen sich die leuchtend hell gemalten Blumen und Früchte in starkem Helldunkelkontrast juwelenhaft vor stets dunkel gehaltenen Fond abzeichnen.
