Description
Die großformatige, qualitätvolle Phantasievedute ist als autonomes Werk ausgeführt. Die einzelnen Architekturteile assoziieren Motive aus Rom und seiner Umgebung, doch haben die Rundbauten und das Kastell keine topographischen Bezüge. Alt auf Sammlungsunterlage mit Zierlinien montiert. Verso mit alter Zuschreibung an “Salvator Rosa”. – Vereinzelt mit Stockflecken und mit geglätteter Mittelfalte, ansonsten gut und farbfrisch erhalten.
