Description
Früher Originalabzug der Kalköfen im niederländischen Meppel. Charakteristisch für Bernd und Hilla Bechers Werke sind die möglichst neutrale, frontale Perspektive und der bedeckte Himmel. Die nicht unter dem Vorzeichen der Ästhetik entstandenen Industriebauten werden befreit von allem Außergewöhnlichen. Mit präzisem und analytischem Blick wird das Gewöhnliche, das Typische gebannt. Auf diese Weise erscheinen die spröden Zweckbauten monumental und klassisch schön. – Stellenweise leichte Bereibungen, in altersgemäß gutem Erhaltungszustand.
