Nach einem Gemälde von 1950. Ab Mitte der 1950er Jahre widmet sich Picasso dem Thema ‘Stierkampf’. So entstanden zahlreiche Zeichnungen, die mehrfach in der Druckgraphik ihre Umsetzung finden. In diesem Blatt schildert Picasso den Beginn der Corrida: Der Stier tritt aus dem Tor, während der Torero und die Picadores auf ihre Aufgabe warten. – Mit geringfügigen Spuren alter Montage, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
