Description
Voll ausgeführte Vorzeichnung zur gleichnamigen Ansicht Nr. 58 der im Jahr 1802 erschienenen Graphikfolge: “Voyage pittoresque et histoire de L’Istrie et de la Dalmatie”. Die Originalzeichnungen, nach welchen die späteren Graphiken entstanden, beschreibt Nagler als “vollendete Gemälde in Aquarell” (vgl. Nagler’s Künstlerlexikon, Bd. II, S. 420/421). – Vereinzelt mit kleineren Randmängeln und teils Kleberesten alter Montage, sonst gut.
