Description
George Grosz versteht sich in erster Linie als Zeichner und Illustrator und dies ist auch in seinen malerisch ausgeführten Arbeiten spürbar. Er fängt die idyllische Landschaft am Meer mit flirrenden Farben und feinen Strichen ein und präsentiert damit eine heile und friedvolle Welt, die er, der sich selbst als “verkappter Romantiker” bezeichnet, gerne in seinen Werken suchte. – Umlaufend ins Passepartout montiert. Verso alte Klebereste. Sonst in einem sehr guten, farbfrischen Zustand.
