Das schmale Skizzenblatt gibt einen interessanten Einblick in die Arbeitsweise des unermüdlichen Skizzierers und Zeichners: Menzel entwirft das Gesicht einer älteren Frau, streicht ihre Mundpartie, umreisst rasch zwei weitere Münder, verwirft und streicht erneut einen davon. – Etwas fleckig und mit altersbedingten Gebrauchspuren.
