Description
Pratella gehörte noch zu der neapolitanischen Scuola di Posillipo, einem Verband von Künstlern, der schon um 1820 entstand und der sich der Landschaftsmalerei verschrieben hatte. Auch für Pratella galt die Bucht von Neapel immer wieder als Inspiration. So malte er zahlreiche Ansichten von Fischerbooten am Strand und im offenen Meer. Hier setzt er die verschiedenen Blau- und Grautöne des Himmels und des Wassers gegen die farbigen Kleider der Fischer ab. – Vereinzelte Retuschen, vorwiegend im Himmel. In altersgemäß sehr gutem Zustand.
