Borellis “Philosophie” aus der Bibliothek des Friedrich Roth-Scholt, 1711, mit dem gestochenen Exlibris auf der Rückseite des Titelblatts.
Description
Das zweibändige Werk erschien 1623 zuerst im Selbstverlag bei Simon Halbmayr, dann noch einmal 1671 bei Paulus Fürst in Nürnberg. Hier liegt die vollständige erste Ausgabe mit der Darstellung des Halsprunner Hofes vor. Sehr selten. Dem Werk ist J. Alphons Borellis illustrierte “Philosophia de motu animalium ex unico principio mechanico-statico deducta (…)” von 1704 beigebunden. – Leichte Gebrauchspuren, Einband etwas fleckig, insgesamt gut erhalten.
