Dieses expressiv gemalte Blumenstillleben, das an ein Gewächshaus oder ein Blumenfenster denken lässt, zeigt die Virtuosität des jungen Malers, der später vor allem durch seine Kirchenfenster bekannt wurde. Geyer selbst muss dieses Werk besonders geschätzt haben, er bezeichnete es auf einem Etikett auf der Rückseite als “unverkäuflich”.
