Meidners überwiegend biographische Texte konzentrieren sich auf seine Kriegserfahrungen sowie auf Schilderungen religiöser Erlebnisse. Zusammen mit den Lithographien ergeben sie ein Zeugnis der tiefen Erschütterung, die der Erste Weltkrieg in dem Künstler bewirkte. – Sehr vereinzelt fleckig. Bindung an einer Stelle angebrochen.
