Description
Amüsante Zeichnung Thönys, die wohl eine Vorzeichnung für den “Simplicissimus” war und ursprünglich dort auch mit dem Textbeitrag versehen: “Eigentlich züchte ich Pferde bloß noch, damit meine Kinder verstehen, woher der Ausdruck PS kommt.” Als Karikaturist verstand Thöny die charakteristischen Züge der dargestellten Personen stets ironisch hervorzuheben, als Zeichner entwickelte Thöny sich zum Meister der Pferdedarstellung. – Verso mit unleserlichem Zollstempel. Obere und untere Blattkanten gefaltet, die Darstellung nicht störend. Insgesamt farbstark und in sehr gutem Zustand.
